1. Improved the freeform curves:
1. Used completely new algorithms for computing freeform curves and for changing the smoothing factor on any curve, which make the curves smoother and more accurate.
2. When smoothing out a curve, it keeps the corners intact unless you decide not to.

2. Improved opening and saving files:
1. When you open a file, the opened curves automatically get selected.
2. When you save a file, the save button gets disabled until you make a modification.
3. When you save a tracing and open it later, it will open in the same place, even if you have changed the dpi in Photoshop.
4. The name of the saved file and the zooming factor show in the title bar.

1. The focus never gets lost into the Tools or Measurements palette.
2. These palettes only have the focus while you edit a number, and if you press a shortcut key, the focus goes back to the canvas.

6. Added the capability to use all the number keys to the right of your keyboard, including the “+” and “-” keys.

7. Improved the capabilities when you press the control key to temporarily go into select mode from draw mode. While holding the control key, you can:

2. split a curve or direction,
3. connect curves, close a curve, or make a direction continuous,
4. change the direction of a line,
5. use Draw With End Point to change the start or end point of a curve segment,
6. press the shift key to restrain a curve.

8. Incorporated a warning message when changing the curve type in select or move mode.

9. Added the capability of scaling copied curves and changing the scale by the same amount each time when pasting curves (or pasting them reflected) multiple times.

10. Incorporated a warning message when pasting a curve (or pasting it reflected), asking if you want to continue the selected curve. If not, it pastes to the center of the canvas. This warning only comes up once when you paste repeatedly.

11. Made many other small changes and fixes, including performance enhancements.
